FFA: Petting Zoo, Popcorn, and Pork Burgers
FFA Week was filled with fun activities and themed dress-up days that encouraged students and staff to show their support for our FFA chapter. Throughout the week, the school community came together to celebrate agriculture, leadership, and service. A pork burger lunch was held as a fundraiser to support Newark's FFA chapter, and it was well attended. On Thursday, a petting zoo was opened to the community, giving families a chance to connect with local agriculture firsthand. Members of Newark FFA brought in a donkey, a turtle, pigs, rabbits, and even a snake for visitors to see. All of the FFA members, along with Mr. Steffen, dedicated many hours of hard work to ensure everything ran smoothly, and their efforts made the week a tremendous success.
